The Beauty Products I Can't Live Without

The market for beauty products is so vast sometimes it's hard to choose from all the different options available.  A lot of people ask me which are the beauty products I love to use so I decided to do this post with my top picks from skin care to hair care and more. These are the products that worked for me but I would love to hear from you what are the ones you can't live without, leave a comment below and I will sure check them out. Hope you guys enjoy it!

I was on this beauty street style column for the website huffington post, unfortunately they made a LOT of mistakes with my choices and entered products I didn't even mentioned. So here is the real deal:

SKIN CARE
Skin care is to me the most important step of "beauty care" and is where I spend the most time and money. I don't care how good of a make up artist you are, if your skin looks awful underneath it the only thing that is going to help it is photoshop. Keeping my skin hydrated is my biggest weapon to always have fresh and healthy looking skin and that includes drinking lots of water and moisturizing everyday.

dynamic skin recovery spf30- Dermalogica's Dynamic Skin Recovery daily moisturizer is definitely one of the biggest reasons I get compliments on my skin. I've been hooked on this ever since a make up artist once used it on me at a photoshoot. It has the perfect balance between rich and light moisture and it just makes my skin look like that of a 10 year old. Another great thing about it is that it already has SPF in the formula. ($64 USD). Still, I feel like on really hot summer days this gets to be a little too rich, so my next secret is this:

- Verhoeven Cosmetics Essential Beauty Vitamin C daily moisturizer, I had the pleasure to work with Pieter Verhoeven himself a number of times and that's how I got introduced to this amazing line of beauty and make up products. The Essential Beauty cream is really a must have in my arsenal; it has a perfect light consistency and also my favorite new secret: Vitamin C, which helps revert and minimize future sun damage to skin. Even my husband got hooked on this product and he swears that it makes his breakout scars heal faster and completely disappear. It also has SPF in the formula and comes in this great looking packaging, which makes my bathroom cabinet look way more luxurious! ($34 USD <-- best price!)

- Ultra Lift Eye Contour cream, another one of Mr. Verhoeven's awesome products, this eye cream really gives your eye contour a fresh look and it also comes in this amazing looking packaging. ($32 USD)

- Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate is still my biggest crush yet. There are no words to describe the wonders this product does to your skin, even after only one use. Because this is an oil, a lot of people that I talk to about it are very reluctant to try it, which I think it is a legitimate worry as we are always trying to fight oil out of our skin, but not all oil is bad and some can do wonders to our skin so I do think everybody should try it. Another big plus to it, is that is absorbs into your skin so it won't be all over your pillow case when you wake up next morning. (Comes in three sizes $46, $70 and $120 USD)

- Kiehl's Eye Cream with Avocado Oil, no wonder Kiehl's has been in the market since 1851, they really know what they are doing. After rubbing so much make up on and off, my eye contour gets really irritated and this cream always saves the day. It's supper rich and it gives me a feeling of deep tissue moistening that I love.($29 USD)

Thermal Spring Water
 - Avène Thermal Spring Water spray is one of nature's secrets to beauty and treatment of sensitive skin. I like to put this on my face and neck before my daily moisturizer but there are infinite uses for it such as sunburn, baby diper rash, after shaving, hair removal and many more; the product link will take you to a list of different uses. The super plus to this product is that is is available in most drugstores. (Different sizes available and prices can vary depending on retailer but is mostly ranging from $9 to $25 USD)

- Diper Rash Cream is my affordable secret to soft lips any time of the year, I just put it on once a day after my morning shower and voila soft never cracked lips, I don't even have to apply any kind of chap stick throughout the day. Any brand any price will do just look for one that is transparent other than the white ones.

Deep Pore Wash
- Acnedote by Alba, this medicated face wash keeps my skin clean and helps prevent occasional break outs with it's deep pore cleaning without drying out the skin. My favorite thing about it is that it is affordable and I can get it at my local supermarket. ($10 USD)

MAKE UP
I'm very conservative when it comes to wearing make up, I love the feeling of clean fresh skin too much to pancake my face with make up all the time. But still I love wearing it when going out or during the day when I feel like I look more tired than usual or when I need a self esteem boost. These are the make up products I can't live without:

- YSL Touche Eclat, this little pen had been many make up artists and models secret for years and I feel like more and more people are starting to use it for a very simple reason, it works like magic. Soften dark circles, red spots, lines and mouth contour all in one. It adheres to the skin really nicely for a natural "no-makeup" look. ($40 USD)

- Diorskin Sculpt Concealer, skin treatment and make up combo, this concealer helps smooth and rejuvenate the eye area. The one down side to it is that there aren't very many shades available. ($36 USD)

- M.A.C Blush, I'm not the biggest fan of MAC in general as I'm allergic to many of their products (which makes me worried about what kind of components goes in their formulas) but still I love their blush and have been using it for quite a few years now. My favorite thing about it is the amazing variety of shades available, it's shade wonderland. ($21 USD)

HAIR
All I want my hair to be is healthy, shiny and soft to the touch. I think I have been achieving it so far as a lot of hair stylists I work with always point out how healthy my hair looks. One of the biggest secrets to healthy hair is obviously keeping it away from heat as much as possible but sometimes it is not that easy. I don't have many hair secrets but I'll share the ones I do have anyways:

 - Fekkai Brilliant Glossing Cream, I love using this cream during winter months when blow drying hair is a must. I just apply a little bit to the length of wet hair (not the roots) and blow dry it as usual. It makes my hair super shiny and feeling smooth just the way I love it. ($20 USD).

- Fat Hair "0 Calories" thickening cream has been introduced to me recently by my mother in law and I just love it. Ever since I cut my bangs I felt like they just looked too thin and not interesting enough until I tried this. Is very simple to use, I just add a tiny bit to my wet hair and blow dry it as usual. Super plus to this product is the price and the fact that you can get it at any major drug store. ($7 USD).
